The Proposal
Making larger delivery sizes is key for Ollybars achieving economies of scale. By exporting more bars abroad in a single shipment Olly's costs-per-box go down. A lower unit cost means greater potential cash flow.
The economics of pallet sales are a little different however and up-front costs are higher.
Olly must buy more ingredients, more packaging, employ more packing staff and purchase equipment - and he only gets paid after the delivery. To cover these costs and continue growing Olly would like your support.
You can fund the production of 3 pallets of Ollybars. 1,200 boxes which will be exported to Denmark, Switzerland and Spain. Production takes a month and the buyers pay in 6-8 weeks. To fulfil these orders Olly will raise £30,000.
Ollybars' monthly sales today are £13-15k/month so the funding is equivalent to about 2 months of turnover. Investors funding these boxes will pay £25.00 per box (£1.25/bar) and you'll own them until repaid.
Olly's proposal is to repay you in 3 months plus a 4.5% profit. You'll also become a Friend of the brand.
