Founded by Christian Zago in 2010, Bread Tree is a restaurant in BoxPark Croydon. It is also an Italian fine food wholesaler. Its bestselling product is a unique rainbow pasta, made with Italian semolina and showing all the colours of the rainbow. It contains beetroot, olives and all natural ingredients. It is sold to over 80 shops, delicatessens and restaurants across the United Kingdom.
Now Christian has a unique proposition for you. Fund the import of two pallets of fine rainbow pasta. You will own the pasta until it is sold. Each pallet costs £2,000 and contains about 900 packs. Christian expects to sell them by the end of the Summer. He can then share his profit with you.

Christian Zago says "I was born in North Italy in Padua, near Venice. But my father has Southern Italian origins. That is where my passion for Southern Italian food comes from".
Christian's wife Rebecca, MD of Bread Tree, says "Good food does not happen by chance, our producers put all their souls and talents in making these exceptional products."
The pasta is from Puglia in the heel of Italy’s “boot”. It is known for its whitewashed hill towns, centuries-old farmland and hundreds of kilometers of Mediterranean coastline.
Italian Rainbow Pasta (1,800 packs)
1,800 packs funded by 45 backers
Christian will import 2 pallets of rainbow pasta. It takes 2-3 weeks to be delivered.
He will store it in his warehouse and sell through a variety of channels. This includes wholesale and retail. Retail outlets include food markets, the Bread Tree restaurant and Christian's website.
The cost per pallet is £2,000. Each pallet holds about 100 cases and each case contains 9 packs. This gives 1,800 packs in total.
Christian has confidence that based on past performance he will sell all his pasta this Summer with success.
He expects to repay investors plus an 8% profit by the end of September - in just 4 months.
